Adornetto Podcast
Hello. This is the link to my podcast, which is located at Archive: http://www.archive.org/details/TnettoPodcast
This is the script for my podcast:
My name is Thomas Adornetto and I am a senior Communication Studies major at TCNJ. In addition to furthering my education, I love to watch and play all types of sports. My favorite professional teams are the New York Jets and the New York Yankees.
When I was a young child, I dreamed of attending a college or university with a fantastic education reputation and a successful sports program. I may not have selected a college with the most storied history, but I believe I accomplished my goal.
TCNJ was founded in 1855 and is one of the best public colleges in the nation. TCNJ currently is ranked as one of the 75 “Most Competitive” schools in the nation by Barron’s Profiles of American Colleges and is rated the No. 1 public institution in the northern region of the country by U.S. News & World Report (1). Students have the opportunity to select a major from one of seven different schools, including: business, education and engineering. In 2008, applications to the College hit record highs. For the first time in its history, over 9,000 students applied and roughly 1,300 will compose of the Class of 2012.
Although TCNJ does not have a football stadium like Notre Dame that is able to hold 80,000 fans, its athletic program is one of the most successful Division III programs. Since 1979, The College of New Jersey has amassed a total of 38 Division III crowns in seven different sports. In addition, the Lions have posted 3 runner-up awards, giving the College an aggregate of 69 first and second-place finishes. That figure is tops among the nation’s 424 Division III colleges and universities during the past 25 years. The Lions have also produced 48 Division III Academic All-Americans (2).
Selecting to attend TCNJ was one of the best decisions I have made in my lifetime. I know TCNJ’s reputation will continue to rise in the future and people will become aware of the innumerable accolades it earns in both education and athletics.

Mercer Madness
Rachel and I decided to make our two-minute package about a press conference held last week for the 1st Annual Mercer Madness Dodgeball Tournament. The press conference took place at the ice skating rink at Mercer County Park, which is where the tournament will be held. We inserted visuals and several soundbites from those responsible for organizing the event. Our piece also includes four voiceovers, read by Rachel, and concludes with her final tag. We hope you enjoy it and we look forward to seeing you at the courts on April 12th.
Welcome
